Do you feel guilty or ashamed after you eat something that’s “bad” for you? Here are some tips to get over that feeling, and learn from it:

  •  Feeling guilty does not help you make better choices in the future. Understanding why you made a “bad” choice will help you understand yourself and make better future choices.

  •  Once you understand why you made an unhealthy choice, you can start to find reasons to motivate yourself to make healthier choices.

  •  When you are in a situation in which you may make a decision that you will later feel guilty about, remind yourself of how guilty you may feel and ask yourself why you will feel guilty.
