Sometimes jealousy can get the best of us. Whether you’re comparing your
body or your career to someone else, it usually is not helpful and is actually
detrimental to your self-esteem.
body or your career to someone else, it usually is not helpful and is actually
detrimental to your self-esteem.
Here are some tips to reduce jealousy in your life:
- First, become aware of times when you are jealous. The first step to being able to change is being able to become aware. So just try to be present and conscious of times when you are jealous.
- Then, try to understand why you are jealous. What is it about someone else that you wish you had?
- Finally, try to work on getting what it is that you’re jealous of – is it a fit body, a passionate career, or a loving partner? Use your jealousy as personal insight to your soul, and then work on fulfilling your desires.
