Morning Yoga Routine to Combat Stiffness

I’ve been hearing more and more people say how they’ve incorporated stretching into their morning routine to avoid feeling stiff at work. Here’s a short routine you can do:

  • Stand up out of bed and reach your arms out to the sides and up. Clasp your hands and turn your palms up towards the ceiling. Stretch your chest and armpits.

  • Then, release your arms and fold forward, dangling like a wet noodle. Bend one knee, then bend the other knee, and peddle out your feet to stretch your legs.

  • Finally, stand up and place your hands on your hips. Lean over to the right side to stretch out the left side of your body, and then lean over to the left side to stretch the right side of your body.
