High intensity interval training has been proven to be a very effective way to burn fat in the least amount of time. Here’s how to do it:
- After a quick cardio warm up and dynamic stretching, do about 3 minutes of cardio. Every 30 seconds, change the intensity, either by increasing the speed or increasing the difficulty. After 30 seconds, slow it back down or make it easier. Keep alternating for 3 minutes.
- Then, do exercises with your own body as resistance. Move into jumping squats or lunges for a couple of minutes.
- You can also integrate arm exercises, such as push-ups or dumbbell exercises during this time.
- After a few minutes of strength training, start up the cardio again. Alternate between cardio and strength for a total of at least 20 minutes for a quick, effective, full-body workout at a high intensity and quick pace!
