Unfortunately, we all have to deal with people we find difficult. Here are some techniques to help do this:

  • Envision yourself surrounded by smiley faces or hearts. When you encounter this difficult person, visualize that youa re sending them positive or loving energy. Try sending this energy outwards and see if you can change your perspective.

  • Next, try to understand why this person is being so difficult. Even if you don’t agree with his/her reason, understanding the reason can help you explain his/her behavior.

  • Finally, take a few seconds before responding to this person. Try to catch yourself and stop in the moment to see how you can radiate more positivity and love to this person to get along better with him/her.
