Some scents and everyday practices can help clear nasal congestion. Here are a few ideas:
- Keep a peppermint spray or candy handy and sniff on peppermint a few times everyday. This scent is calming and soothing but also sharp enough to help with a clogged nose.
- Use saline spray (all natural and non-addictive) or make your own salt-water spray to clean out your nasal passageways.
- Finally, take slow breaths during the day. They do not need to be deep breaths, but practice consciously slowing down your breathing to help keep the nose open.
