Here are some easy drink recipes that have about half of the calories of their original recipes:
- If you like fizzy drinks, instead of buying flavored sodas or sparkling juices, drink sparkling water with freshly squeezed lemon, lime, or oranges.
- For alcoholic beverages, instead of using soda as a mixer, use 100% juice and use half juice, half water.
- Instead of adding frozen yogurt to your smoothie, add fat free yogurt or coconut milk for a creamy flavor and texture.
- Finally, next time you pour a glass of juice or something to drink, use more ice and less liquid.
