Boost Confidence in Warrior II
Warrior II is a confidence-boosting pose. Here are some tips to feeling stronger
and more stable in the pose:
- Once in Warrior II, make sure your foundation, your legs, is stable and strong. Press the front heel into the ground, and press the outer edge of the back foot into the ground. Be sure you’re not gripping your toes on the ground. Keep the toes relaxed.
- Deeply bend into the front knee, while still keeping your torso in line with your shoulders. Make sure the abs are engaged so that the shoulders stay over the ribs, and the ribs stay over the hips.
- Finally, reach equally through the front fingers and through the back fingers. Reach for the front of the room and for the back of the room, and feel your body lengthening and strengthening.
