	I recently purchased this item along with the yoga mat rolls, thinking it would be necessary to cut smoothly with. However, many of us at the studio found it difficult to work with, many times leaving unsightly tears at the end of a cut mat. We ended up using good house scissors and found it much easier to do as well as leaving a cleaner cut. We have since made two other purchases of mat rolls and have been cutting them the same way, not needing the rotary mat cutter.
